The Jade Range 4620100000 Oven Thermocouple 18" 1980 Series is a temperature sensor that is used to measure and, regulate the flame activity of commercial cooking parts. The thermocouple with 18 inches creates a signal when it is exposed to heat and, and this signal is used by the control system to make sure that the burner is working safely. It is placed close to pilot or main burner to ensure that the gas valve does not open unless a flame is visible to ensure that the temperature remains constant and safe when cooking cycles are underway.
