The Comstock Castle COM17005 Thermocouple in the 1980 Series is an 18-inch sensing element that is used to measure and control the flame in commercial cooking equipment. It generates a 20-30 millivolt signal, which is utilised in the presence of flames during operation. It is in the control system, and it operates together with the valves to permit the flow when the correct ignition is detected and to control heating and the operation of appliances in professional catering.
