The Garland 1019418 Thermocouple 18" Long 20-30mV 1980 Series is a sensing element that is intended to be used in commercial gas ranges, where the flame of the burner is monitored to aid in the better flow of gas. It is applied in professional kitchens and restaurants as well as in catering settings where consistent ignition and flame detection are needed on an ongoing cooking process. It is connected to gas control system of the appliance, and it is used with the other components, as it senses the presence of heat in the pilot flame.
