The Hobart 714268 Thermocouple 1980 Series is a temperature sensor that is used to regulate and monitor flow in commercial cooking equipment. It produces a signal of 20-30 millivolts when it is hot, which allows the system of the appliance to determine whether it is on and to stabilise its operation. There is an element of the control system that constant flame monitoring. Its 18-foot length and accurate temperature feedback enable an efficient appliance operation.
