The Market Forge 976575 Contactor is an electrical switching part that operates at high current power circuits in commercial cooking and steam systems. It works by creating an electromagnetic field inside an internal coil which opens or closes four power contacts to enable controlled electrical supply at rated inductive and resistive loads. The contactor is fitted in the electrical control enclosure of the appliance in professional catering installations. It also controls power flow to heating components in response to thermostat, timer or control circuit signals during normal heating and cooking cycles within the system.
