The Groen GRZ013369 Kettle Contactor is an electrical switching part that is used to operate high current power circuits in commercial cooking and steam systems. It works on the concept of energising an internal electromagnetic coil that opens or closes four contact poles to enable electrical supply to be switched at designated inductive and resistive ratings. The contactor is fitted in the electrical control compartment of the appliance in professional catering installations. It controls power to heating elements to the system in response to signals provided in normal heating and cooking cycles.
