The Hatco 2-01-018-00 Contactor is a four-pole electrical switching part that can be used to regulate the flow of power in commercial catering equipment that runs on 208/240 V. It has a rated current of 40A Inductive and 50A Resistive to switch high-current heating elements, motors, or other circuits with high current. The Contactor is fitted into the electrical control system of the appliance and based on the signal given by the thermostats or control boards, the Contactor is opened or closed accordingly. This is controlled operation, electrical safety and a uniform performance in the normal use of equipment.
