The Hatco HT02-01-018 Contactor is a replacement part that is used to operate high-current power circuits in commercial foodservice systems. It works by driving an internal electromagnetic coil which opens or closes four contact poles to enable electrical supply to be regulated at desired inductive and resistive load ratings. The contactor in professional kitchen installations is installed in the electrical control compartment of the appliance. It has a control function within the overall system where it controls the supply of power to heating elements or motors based on signals by thermostats, timers or control circuits during normal operation.
