The Groen GR013369 Kettle Contactor is an electrical switching part that switches high-current power circuits in commercial cooking and steam systems. It works by charging an internal electromagnetic coil which switches four contact poles to permit electrical supply at various inductive and resistive ratings. The contactor in professional catering installations is fitted in the electrical control enclosure of the appliance. It controls power flow to heating elements within the entire system in response to signals sent by thermostats, timers or control circuits in the normal operating cycles.
