The BKI (Barbeque King) R0148 Fryer Contactor is an electrical switching system that is applied to regulate high-current power circuits in commercial cooking systems. It works by activating an internal electromagnetic coil that opens and closes four contact poles enabling electrical supply to be controlled at designated inductive and resistive load ratings. The contactor is fitted in the electrical control compartment of the appliance in professional foodservice settings. In the entire system, it is a control component, as it directs power to heating components or motors in reaction to thermostat, timer or control circuitry signals during operation.
