The Star Mfg Y8838 Charbroiler Burner Valve is a gas flow control system that is used to control the supply of natural gas, or propane to the appliance burner in normal operation. This valve is opened or closed by adjustment or control signals by the user to regulate the amount of fuel that is introduced to the burner assembly to facilitate controlled combustion and heat production over the cooking surface. The burner valve is connected to the gas manifold of the charbroiler and is attached to the burner line with a 1/8 inch NPT thread.
