The Montague 2406-6 Burner Valve #46DS is a gas flow control component that is utilized in a cooking system to control the supply of fuel to a burner assembly. This valve has a 1/8" NPT connection and to open or close the gas path to control the input to assist in adjusting flame intensity. In practice, in the kitchen installations, it is mounted between the gas supply and the burner tube, where gas flow needs to be modulated to do fine cooking work. This component is connected to the control elements.
