The Montague 01001-4 Burner Valve is a gas flow control component that is installed in a cooking system to control the flow of fuel to a burner assembly. This valve has a 1/8 inch NPT connection and is opened or closed to regulate the input to enable adjustment of flame intensity. In actual kitchen installations, it is installed between the gas supply and burner tube, where the modulation of gas flow is vital in cooking activities. This component operates in conjunction with control components and piping is used in the proper control of gas delivery in normal operation.
