The Component Hardware Group R50-2850 Hinge Edgemount is a pivot joint that is used to connect and provide movement of two components of commercial and industrial equipment. It is mainly used to have controlled access panels, doors, or lids. The mechanism is made up of interlocking knuckles and a pin that gives the mechanism a rotational movement and keeps it aligned. Installation entails attaching the hinge to surfaces of mating with the right hardware. This hinge provides a stable articulation, maintained positioning and performance of repetitive motions in service and maintenance, and access in assemblies.
