The Johnson Controls Y75AA-3 Flame Sensor Probe 1-1/4 inch with a 1/4 inch tab terminal at 90 deg is a detection element in commercial cooking equipment to detect the presence of a flame. The probe is installed in the burner assembly and detects whether the burner flame is present or not and relays a signal to the control system to keep or cut off the flow of gas, respectively. This probe is a component of the secure ignition system which assists in the prevention of the accumulation of unburned fuel.
