The Imperial 36017 Oven Thermocouple with Nut is a temperature sensor that is installed in a commercial appliance system that heats. The thermocouple of size 18 inches is used to detect the temperature of the burner flame and sends a corresponding electrical signal to the control system. It has an M10 nut that is fitted and screwed into the burner or pilot assembly to make sure that it is properly positioned. It is the purpose of the appliance to ensure better temperature feedback to ensure secure ignition.
