The Garland 1019436 Oven Thermocouple T-46 is a 1900 Series heavy-duty sensor that is used to monitor and control the temperature in commercial ovens. It is 36 inches long and converts thermal energy to a 20-30 millivolt signal that sends a signal to the gas control system of the oven to keep the burner operating correctly and the cooking temperatures constant. This thermocouple is commonly used in professional kitchen settings and is directly in the oven chamber, where it measures the amount of heat and opens the better valve in case the pilot flame is extinguished, which is both performance and operational.
