The Blodgett 41163 Thermocouple is a 36-inch heavy-duty flame-sensing element that is used in a commercial system. It identifies the existence of a pilot flame and produces a low-level electrical signal to maintain the gas valve open in the process. In case the flame is put out, the thermocouple will make the valve cut off the gas supply, which will ensure the working condition. It is ensured in the burner assembly of the oven and is proper in ignition control and generally better than the heating system in professional kitchens.
