The Garland GL11769-2 (GARLAND) Pilot Natural Gas/LP is a spare component that is installed in the combustion chamber of an oven to create a small continuous flame that is used to ignite the main burner. This pilot assembly is designed to operate with either natural gas or liquid propane, and the pilot flame is close to the oven burner to ensure an accurate start-up. In practical kitchen settings, where it is installed, it is used during each service or assembly to make sure that the ignition sequence works when heat is required.
