The Garland 1028200 Pilot NAT/LP is a gas ignition system installed in the combustion chamber of an oven to provide a small, continuous flame to start the main burners. This pilot assembly will be set up to operate on natural and liquid propane fuels and will be mounted close to the main burner tubes where a stable pilot flame is needed. In practice, in a kitchen, it is installed during maintenance or during the initial installation to make sure that the ignition sequence works properly when heat is required.
