The Vulcan Hart VH20040 Thermocouple is an accurate temperature-sensing system that is used with 1980 Series appliances. It is 24 inches long and works in a 20-30 mV range and has a snap-fit design. Its main role is to monitor and control the pilot flame, which is operation of gas-fired equipment. It is a vital better and control component that is commonly used in commercial ovens and other cooking systems, and allows the appliance to react properly to temperature variations whilst ensuring a consistent system of operation within the better gas ignition system.
