The Keating 22567 Thermopile 2 Lead 32' is a temperature detector that is used in commercial cooking systems detect the presence of flames and to send a voltage signal to the control circuit. Its main operation is to produce 250-750 millivolts when it is subjected to heat, and this enables the system to monitor the proper burner operating. The thermopile is mounted close to the pilot or main burner, and 36-inch leads are used to ensure that the thermopile is securely connected.
