The Cecilware F178AL Thermopile 2 Lead 36" 250-750 MV is a temperature sensor that is used in commercial cooking systems to detect the presence of flames and produce a voltage signal to be used in control circuits. Its main role is to generate 250-750 millivolts as a response to heat, enabling the system to check the operation of the burner. The thermopile is mounted close to either the pilot or main burner using 36-inch leads to ensure that it is connected. It also allows to maintain the steady operation of the unit.
