The Adcraft 21424 Thermopile 2 Lead 36" 250-750 mV is a temperature sensor system that is used in commercial cooking systems that detect the presence of flames and deliver voltage output to control circuits. It is mainly used to produce 250-750 millivolts when the heat is detected so that the system can sense when the burner is operating and safe ignition is maintained. The thermopile should be placed close to the pilot or main burner and should have 36" leads to connect it.
