The Hobart 00-412788-00002 Thermocouple is a temperature-sensing unit that is installed in commercial kitchen and other associated appliances. It is installed in the control or burner assembly of the appliance and detects the level of heat by producing a millivolt signal that is proportional to temperature and sends this to the control system. When used in it, it assists the machine to know when desired operating temperatures are achieved, and this will result in effective wash cycles or secure operation. This 48-inch thermocouple is normally installed when the thermocouple is being serviced or replaced in order to ensure proper temperature control in commercial kitchen settings.
