The Vulcan Hart VH411170-1 Door Strike Plate 1 x 2 is a replacement latch plate that is compatible with other cooking appliances. It is attached to the door frame to provide the door a contact surface where the door strike will assist in ensuring that the door closes properly in normal operation. This plate is installed in the access assembly of the appliance to allow the door to be properly aligned and latched.
