The Market Forge 95-0145 Sterilmatic Door Lock/Handle Assembly W/Knob works by the use of a mechanical latching system that holds the pressure chamber door in place when it is in use. The direct force to the internal locking mechanism is provided by rotating the integrated knob to ensure the full seal of the gasket to retain the internal optimum conditions. This assembly is fixed on the front side of the sterilizer unit and it is the main point of opening and closing the vessel. The component has a heavy-duty handle and a threaded knob that is operated manually.
