The Manitowoc 20-0802-9 Ice Thickness Control Probe is a sensor part that can check the formation of ice in compatible appliances. It measures the thickness of ice formed on the evaporator plate, and provides the control system with an indication of when the right level is attained. This data enables the machine to start the collecting cycle, when it is high time. The probe is fitted in the system assembly and is active throughout the production process to ensure the ice size is consistent and to assist in the proper sequencing of the entire process.
