The Manitowoc 000007724 Ice Machine Water Level Probe is a sensor that measures the level of water in the reservoir of the machine and sends electrical feedback to the control board to regulate the fill and harvest cycles. The probe is installed in the water tank of an ice machine and detects when water hits preset levels and opens or closes valves and pumps to manage the fill correctly and avoid overfill and dry-run situations. It is often installed in commercial kitchens and is connected to the plumbing and the electronic controls of the unit.
