The Hobart E-290339 Knife 10/12 is a cutting blade that fits into 10- and 12-meat grinders to slice meat against the grinder plate as it operates. It is clamped to the drive shaft of the grinder and is pressed against the plate where it turns to cut the product effectively as it is pressed through the grinding holes. The knife is a vital component, of the cutting assembly which operates together with the plate to define the grind texture. It is applied in the commercial food-preparation setting like restaurants where steady grinding performance is needed.
