The Hobart 418520-3 Fryer Screen is a flat metal element that is used to receive loose food particles during frying. It works by ensuring that it is placed in the area of fryer oil, and this allows to flow whereas crumbs and sediment emitted by products are retained as they cook. The screen is placed at bottom of the vat and is removed during routine cleaning or changing in the foodservice. It is used as a debris control feature, which is used in the management of the residue during normal operation.
