The Bunn 4680 Coffee Brewer Disc Type Hi-Limit Thermostat 230°F is fitted to check and restrict the internal heating temperature when operating normally. This thermostat detects the amount of heat and stops the flow of electricity when the set point is achieved to avoid overheating of internal parts. It is re-initiated when the temperature is brought back to a reasonable level, and heating cycles can be continued under control. The system is placed close to the heating source, and it aids in thermal protection, as it reacts directly to temperature variations.
