The Bunn 4680-2 Disc Type Hi-Limit Thermostat is a system that regulates and restricts the internal heating temperatures by cutting off the electrical current when the preset temperature is hit. This thermostat is directly responsive to increasing temperatures and closes the circuit at 230°F to avoid overheating. When the conditions come to a safe range, it enables the normal operation to be resumed. The component is installed close to the heating zone, and it has a protective purpose, as it protects the other components.
