The Blodgett Z1182580 Thermocouple 2030mV 1970 Series is a flame-sensing component used in a gas based cooking system to detect the presence of a pilot or main burner flame. It works by generating a electrical signal when its sensing tip is heated by flame that the control system uses to control the amount of gas flowing during ignition and sustained operation. It is fitted in commercial kitchen settings when there is a need to detect the flame accurately. The 24" lead is designed to be flexible in the routing of the internal assembly to access the control module.
