The Blodgett 40980 Tilting Kettle Transformer ETS 240/480 To 120/240V 60Hz 100 VA converts high voltage power entering it to lower voltage levels needed by control and auxiliary circuits. It has a rating of 100 VA, 60Hz and steps 240 or 480 volts to 120 or 240 volts to suit the system. The transformer is mounted in the electrical compartment and connected to the wiring harness and works in coordinated action with switches, relays and control boards. When in use, it provides stable conversion of voltage, facilitates correct operation of the circuit.
