The Keating 038563 Flame Switch is an electrical safety component that is used to sense the presence of a flame and provide a signal to the control system to control burner ignition and shut-off sequences. The switch applicable in heating assemblies where combustion monitoring is needed to ensure safe operation and avoid unignited flow of fuel. It is mounted close to the burner in a way that it is able to detect the presence of flame and relay information to the control circuitry. In the general system, this switch assists the proper sequencing of burn cycles.
