The Component Hardware Group W38-Y002 Strike is the interface to a door latch, which allows the latch to be hooked up so that the latch mechanism can hook into position when the door is closed. When the door slides into place the latch clips into the strike and secures the door in the cabinet frame. This connection keeps the doors in the right position in the assembly. It is fixed directly to the frame of compatible commercial kitchen equipment and is aligned with the matching latch hardware to allow uniform door closure and to fit into the structural configuration of the unit.
