The Vulcan Hart 00-719344 Door S-Hook is a formed steel fastening material that is curved into a profile of two curves, 3 1/2 inches long and made of 3/16-inch diameter wire. It finds application in commercial catering equipment, especially systems to support, strain or hold chains, springs and lightweight linkages. When used to connect moving or counterbalanced components, which can be moved in a controlled manner whilst maintaining the alignment of components and keeping them in place. In the appliance it is a simple mechanical connector that passes pull forces between assemblies to allow doors, guards or internal mechanisms to operate well without undue play or misalignment.
