The Vollrath VOL515 Onion King Pusher is a food preparation part that is made to be used in vegetable slicing machines. It operates by providing manual force to hold onions in place as they are pushed through the fixed blade grid creating a 3/8 inch cut. The pusher is fitted in the slicer body in the prep stations where a large volume of vegetables are being processed in the commercial kitchen set up. Under the slicing system, its role is the interface that controls the movement of the products and keeps the hands of the operator and the cutting blades separate.
