The Tri-Star AS-315915 Pilot Tip/Tube Assembly provides a regulated flame of pilots. It works by directing a low flow of gas in the pilot tube to the pilot tip where the flame is created and sustained to ignite the primary burner. This is mounted in the burner compartment with the pilot tip facing the main burner and the tube being connected to the gas supply line. It is placed in such a way that it has the correct flame presence and contact with the burner system when the burner is operating normally.
