The Sterling Multi-Mixer SOP58-1216 Gearbox Left Hand is a mechanical drive element of a commercial kitchen to slow down the motor, speed and augment the agitator torque. It has a left-hand design with a ratio of 71:1, providing controlled rotational force that is proper in appliances. This gearbox is fitted between the motor and output shaft of the appliance and it connects to the drive system to convert high-speed motor rotation to a constant, slower speed movement at the tool end.
