The Star Mfg SM2-Z10131 Programmed Timer is an electronic timing controller that is used in commercial dispensers to regulate the operation cycles by stepping through a sequence of preprogrammed intervals to turn on outputs. which in this case can be pumps, valves, or indicators. It is fixed to the control compartment of the dispenser and it is linked to the internal wiring harness and actuator connections. It is driven and scans the time elapsed and switches electrical signals on or off at certain points to control operations. The dispenser contains its own control system.
