The Star Mfg SGD-115351 Bottom Heat Control Potentiometer 200K is a variable resistor that is used to control the bottom heating element on compatible commercial cooking equipment. It can be used to control the amount of heat produced accurately by changing electrical resistance to allow operators to adjust the temperature in the cooking or holding process. This potentiometer is installed in actual applications when the commercial foodservice equipment is being assembled, repaired or maintained to ensure the correct temperature control is reinstated. Fitted in the control panel, it is used in conjunction with thermostats, heating components.
