The Star Mfg 2R-Z1299 Thermostat Knob is a control system that is used to regulate and control the operating temperature of commercial fryers. It is attached to the thermostat spindle on compatible fryer and the user can control the amount of heat used during cooking. The knob is rotated in the daily kitchen setting to choose the necessary temperature of oil in cooking various food items, which facilitates the same frying outcome. It is used in the fryer assembly to give the operator the manual interface with the internal thermostat mechanism to allow fine control of the temperature in operation.
