The Star Mfg 2C-Z11912 Hairpin .090" x 1-3/8" is a metal retaining clip that is used to hold pins, shafts or rods in place during operation. It is made to be easily fitted through pre-drilled holes, and offers an easy locking motion that prevents the components from loosening during movement or vibration. The hairpin is widely applied in commercial catering equipment, machinery and serviceable assemblies, where components need to be removed and replaced frequently. It is used as a secondary retention system in the system to assist in proper alignment and better operation in normal use and maintenance
