The Southbend 4-M605 Interlock Microswitch is used to regulate the electrical circuitry on the basis of mechanical motion in the equipment. This precision switch operates by opening or closing an electrical connection when a given mechanical force is applied, so that equipment can only operate in safe and intended conditions. It is commonly used in oven doors or safety interlock systems, and prevents operation when the doors are open or when parts are not in the correct position.
