The Southbend 1189443 Door Gasket Retainer is a metallic mounting part that is used in commercial ranges. This is done by ensuring that is pressed firmly at the door perimeter so that when closing the door the gasket fits properly against the frame. When operating a kitchen, the retainer is fitted on the inside of the door of the oven where the gasket fits. It is a fastening component where it aids gasket placement to facilitate the door seal design performing as it should during the cooking and holding phases.
