The Silver King 63612 Defrost-Heater-115V SKF48 is a replacement heater that is used to eliminate frost and ice in commercial freezer compartments. It runs on 115 volts and is mounted in the evaporator section of the freezer where it heats coils to melt ice that has collected in the freezer to keep air flowing to cool the fridge. The heater is connected to the defrost control system. which is then activated at programmed intervals as the appliance operates in its normal mode of operation.
