The Scotsman A37707-021 Ice Machine Motor Kit 1/10HP is used to provide the mechanical power required to spin the internal auger or vertical freezing cylinder in flaked and nugget ice machines. The 1/10HP motor operates in parallel with a reduction gearbox to provide high-torque low-speed rotation that constantly removes ice crystals on the evaporator wall. This kit is fitted on the top or bottom of the evaporator assembly depending on the model. This hardware can ensure that ice is collected effectively because it can rotate at a constant speed and the freezing cylinder will not become frozen by ice.
