Randell RP CSY0502 Coil Assembly With Solenoid Valve 404A is a replacement part that regulates the flow of the system by opening and closing the valve with the help of an electromagnetic coil in response to electrical signals. The coil, when energized, produces a magnetic field that causes the valve plunger to rise and refrigerant to flow through the system. When power is disconnected, the plunger closes once more to prevent the flow. It is commonly fitted in commercial fridges to control the flow of refrigerants among major cooling elements.
